Ready to take your embroidery skills to the next level?

Join us for a calming, creative workshop where you’ll stitch a stunning sampler exploring different ways to embroider leaves. This session is designed for those who already know the basics and want to expand their stitch vocabulary while refining their technique.

Embroidery is a wonderfully slow and mindful art — and this workshop gives you the time and space to enjoy the process while learning something new.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll create a detailed leaf sampler while mastering six beautiful intermediate stitches:

• Buttonhole stitch

• Closed fly stitch

• Raised leaf stitch

• Flat Van Dyke stitch

• Rhodes stitch

• The basics of thread painting

By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only understand how to work each stitch confidently, but you’ll also leave with all the knowledge you need to finish your piece beautifully at home.

What’s Included

A full kit is provided, including:

• Instruction booklet

• Wooden embroidery hoop

• Calico cotton fabric

• Selection of embroidery threads

• Needles

Additional tools such as scissors and threaders will be available to use on the day.

What To Bring

Just your patience — embroidery is a slow art, and that’s part of its charm.

Level

Intermediate.
You should already have a basic understanding of simple embroidery stitches.

Additional Information

We aim to structure the workshop so that projects can be completed during the scheduled time. However, embroidery is a slow craft, and if you don’t finish in class, we’ll ensure you have all the knowledge and confidence you need to continue at home.

A minimum of 4 participants is required for this workshop to run. If this number isn’t reached one week before the workshop date, we will contact you with an alternative option. If rescheduling isn’t possible, you will receive a full refund.
