Looking for your next dressmaking challenge? Whether you've been admiring ready-to-wear styles in the shops or want to expand your garment-making skills, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to create a beautiful handmade piece you'll wear again and again.

In this full-day workshop, you'll sew either the Nell blouse or dress, or the Heyday dungarees, depending on your chosen pattern. Both patterns offer versatile styling options and introduce a range of dressmaking techniques to help build your confidence and skills.

The Nell pattern features a relaxed-fit bodice with bust darts, a flattering V-neckline finished with a facing, and a choice of blouse or dress lengths. Choose from button-front or faux tie-front openings.

The Heyday dungarees are a relaxed-fit overall with practical tie straps that don't need to be undone to remove the garment. Featuring optional pocket details and a comfortable rolled-hem finish, they're a stylish and wearable addition to any handmade wardrobe.

Important Information

We carefully plan each workshop to give you the best opportunity to complete your garment during the session. However, sewing speeds vary and some design options may take longer than others. If you don't quite finish during the workshop, we'll ensure you leave feeling confident about completing your garment at home.

A minimum of four participants is required for the workshop to run. If minimum numbers are not reached one week before the workshop date, we will contact you to arrange an alternative date or offer a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Why not bring a friend? Book together and receive 10% off both workshop places.

Please read our workshop cancellation policy before booking.

Testimonials

Thank you so much for my necklace and earrings. My sons were quite bemused that a vendor knew me by name and your personal touch made us all feel good. So much nicer than the faceless Amazon or even the posh mens clothing stores that I frequented (virtually) over Christmas.

I love the necklace and earrings - you were right they do match and I will share your site with friends

Myself and my daughter came in to choose a pattern to get us back into sewing again. Lizzy was so helpful, talking us through all of the patterns she has and what fabrics would suit the pattern and our skill level. We are so exicited to get started and thats thanks to Lizzy's patience and help in the shop. We can't wait to come on one of your workshops.
