What you will learn and practice: following written, shaping and joining techniques to structure individual body parts. You will practice sewing toy’s parts, considering symmetry, finishing the toy with creating face features and accessorising. 

You will practise: slip stitch, double crochet, treble crochet, increase/decrease, half double crochet, crochet in the back or front loop, front post half treble crochet. 

What you will need: 3.5mm crochet hook.

Yarn: Aran or worsted, 8ply, 80% cotton colours:  off white, forest green, dark brown.

Embroidering thread, small quantities of yarn for accessories: the fishing bag, hat, scarf, for the fishes. 

Tapestry needle, fiberfill, stitch markers or a strand of thinner yarn

Level: advanced beginner

Myself and my daughter came in to choose a pattern to get us back into sewing again. Lizzy was so helpful, talking us through all of the patterns she has and what fabrics would suit the pattern and our skill level.
