Crochet Poppies Workshop

A simple project provides you with the skills to make your own crochet poppies. 

What you will learn:

Crochet in a round, reading charts, chain, double/half treble/treble crochet,  changing the colours (optional), joining different parts to assemble a pin/band with the needle, weaving the yarn ends.

What you will need: Cotton, wool or acrylic yarn in red or other colours, DK or 4Ply, darning needles, har band or safety pin, beads for embellishment, black button, stitch markers. 

Skills requirement: confident in crocheting the basic stitches: chain, slip stitch double/treble crochet.

What we will supply:  variation of poppy pattern & charts, design guidance and inspiration

Please note we try to calculate how long a workshop will be and plan to finish each garment in the allocated time but this isn’t always possible, If you are unable to finish in the workshop time we will make sure you are confident with your garment to be finished at home.
