Join us for the next stages of your embroidery journey with the expertise of Beatrice Gessa you will learn a number of more intermediate stitches. 

What you will learn: you will learn six intermediate stitches in a sampler featuring different ways to stitch leaves. We will cover buttonhole stitch, closed fly stitch, raised leaf stitch, flat van dyke stitch, rhodes stitch and we will learn the basics of thread painting. You will learn all the techniques to finish your project at home.

What you will need: patience (embroidery is a slow art!)

What we will supply: full kit which includes instruction booklets, a wooden hoop, selection of threads, calico cotton fabric, needles. Other supplies will be available on the day (scissors, threaders).

Level: intermediate, some basic knowledge overall of simple embroidery is necessary.

Myself and my daughter came in to choose a pattern to get us back into sewing again.
